Need Help with Paying the Cost of your Course?

Apply for a Professional and Career Development loan at your local bank.  The Skills Funding Agency will pay the interest on your bank loan for the time you are studying and for one month after you have completed your training, allowing you to borrow money interest free and pay it back over a period of time.  You can borrow from as little as £300 up to £10,000 and you can apply to cover the cost of any of the following:

• Course fees (up to 80 per cent of the total - or up to 100 per cent if you’ve been unemployed for three months)
• other course costs, like books, travel and childcare
• Living expenses, like rent, food and clothing (if you are unemployed or working less than 30 hours per week)

The sooner you sign up on the course and start your distance learning, the longer you have to pay back your loan interest free!
