If you are already teaching the Reformer to your clients and would like to expand your skills and refresh your knowledge, our two-day Advanced Reformer level 2 course will be the one you want to do:
The Fitt Reformer Level I Fundamentals accredited course will teach you 24 of the basic reformer exercises. You will learn how to use the equipment safely and teach your clients on the machine. You will learn history and development of the reformer and understand how to break down the exercises, modify them and progress for your clients. You will learn how to plan and provide a six-week reformer programme with clients including the choice of exercises, teaching and evaluation of the programme.
Fitness Inspired Teacher Training’s has expert tutors within the field of Pilates will ensure that you get the very most out of this course providing you with skills you need to go away and start teaching basic reformer exercises whilst having a very enjoyable and fun course.
A Certificate in Pilates Level 3 is required as a prerequisite for this course. On successful completion of this SkillsActive and REPs accredited course you will qualify for 16 REPS points.
This qualification will allow you to teach basic reformer exercises. You will learn skills in planning, instructing and evaluating a safe and effective Reformer session.

The Fitt Reformer Level 2 Advanced 2 day accredited course:
Reformer Level 2 has 25 exercises which progress you from Reformer level 1 in intensity and complexity. You will also address a number of new exercises which are influenced by the Classical approach and dance. These exercises will (as with the Level 1) be broken down and built back up again….and beyond. You will look at choreography, combinations of different movements which flow from one to the other. You will examine the concept of safety on the machine with the advanced repertoire and exactly what sort of body would benefit from different Reformer training regimes. You will learn how to program on the Reformer for the advanced individual and also for those people with certain conditions. Your assessment will be teaching practise on the course with a six-week reformer programme and advanced lesson planning.
Fitness Inspired Teacher Training’s tutor’s skill and knowledge with the Reformer will ensure that you get the very most out of this course whiles progressing your abilities as a teacher providing you with skills you need to teach the Reformer to your clients at an advanced level.
