This exciting new accredited certificate will help you to develop your advanced teaching skills in delivering exercise to music. The course will cover an understanding of group dynamics, individual needs and how to motivate multilevel groups, enhancing your communication skills and advance choreography techniques as an aerobics instructor and open up new job opportunities. You will take part in a series of one day courses and workshops, these will take your skills to the next level and can be taken together or over a period of time.
This course will include Level 3 A&P distance learning prior to commencement if you are not already a level 3 instructor.
One-day courses and workshops:
Choreography Workshop £45– covering a variety of teaching methodologies and styles including verse/chorus, linking, balanced foot leads, topping and tailing etc 4 REP points
Step Level 2 £95– covering a variety of teaching methodologies and styles including verse/chorus, linking, balanced foot leads, topping and tailing, cross phrasing and pyramids 8 REP points
Body Conditioning £95 – teaching weight training lifts with a variety of equipment and using advanced training systems also a variety of advanced training systems including interval, fartlek, pyramids, super sets and lots more 8 REP points
Dance workshop £45 – 3 different 1 hour long masterclasses disciplines including on salsa, street 4 REP points
L3 ETM 1 Day Tutorial £95 – after completing the above 4 workshops, you need to attend the one day tutorial for assessment planning and summary of criteria (to include an example session covering criteria)
The pre-requisites for this qualification are a Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing Exercise to Music or equivalent.
You will gain 20 REPs points on completion of the CYQ Level 3 Certificate Advanced Fitness Instructing - Exercise to Music
