This course will educate you if you are a Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer or Sports Coach of any type on the safe, effective teaching of speed and agility techniques that can be incorporated into a group exercise/ multi sports sessions or taught in one to one Personal Training sessions. This is a great day with lots of fantastic ideas for you if you are working with clients for any type of sports conditioning, these techniques can aid you in teaching both people wanting training for sport or just for their own fitness benefits.

The day will involve:

  • Description of speed and agility

  • Benefits of multi sports conditioning

  • Definition of each and how they combine

  • Benefits of speed and agility training for the individual and team

  • Sports specific applications

  • General guidelines and safety

  • Effective Warm ups and Cool downs

  • Correct posture and running technique

  • Progressions and adaptations for beginners to intermediate participants and sports specific

  • Applying with in a circuit session

The pre-requisite for this accredited 1-day Multi Sports Speed and Agility Conditioning course is a recognised Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing or a recognised Level 2 Coaching qualification.  Students will be awarded a certificate of attendance and 8 REPs points.
