Have you thought about teaching Pilates on the Reformer, if the answer is yes then this is the accredited two-day Fundamentals course for you!
The Fitt reformer level I fundamentals accredited course will teach you 24 of the basic reformer exercises you will learn how to use the equipment safely and teach your clients on the machine. You will learn history and development of the reformer and understand how to break down the exercises, modify them and progress for your clients. you will learn how to plan and provide a six-week reformer programme with clients including the choice of exercises, teaching and evaluation of the programme.
Marie Claire is an expert tutor within the field of Pilates and she will ensure that you get the very most out of this course providing you with skills you need to go away and start teaching basic reformer exercises whilst having a very enjoyable and fun course.
A Certificate in Pilates Level 3 is required as a prerequisite for this course. On successful completion of this SkillsActive and REPs accredited course you will qualify for 16 REPS points.
This qualification will allow you to teach level 1 basic reformer exercises. You will learn skills in planning, instructing and evaluating a safe and effective Reformer session.
